MSF is actively recruiting the following profiles :


OBSTETRICIAN GYNAECOLOGIST

MAIN PURPOSE:

Implement gynecological and obstetrician procedures, performing any other prior treatment required, during or immediately after a woman has given birth in order to improve women’s reproductive health and to reduce pregnancy, delivery and neonatology risks. This will be done in accordance with MSF policies, protocols and universal hygiene standards and in multidisciplinary collaboration with other medical doctors and midwife services.

BACKGROUND:

  • Gynecology specialist diploma recognized by the State.
  • 2 year certified work experience in Gynecology.


ANAESTHETIST

MAIN PURPOSE:

Organize and carry out anesthetic medical activities, according to MSF policies, protocols and universal hygiene standards and in close collaboration with the surgeon and other medical staff, and increase the knowledge and practical skills of the anesthetic staff through on the job training and knowledge transfer in order to ensure the quality of care provided to patients.

BACKGROUND:

  • Doctor Anesthetist diploma recognized by the State.
  • 2 year certified work experience as an anesthetist

SURGEON

MAIN PURPOSE:

Organize and carry out surgery activities, ensure pre and post-operative surgical care, in accordance with MSF policies, protocols and universal hygiene standards and in close collaboration with medical staff in the emergency, intensive wards and operation theatre in order to improve patients’ health conditions.

Job requirements

Terms of Employment:

  • Full-time position
  • Field-based position (in one of MSF projects worldwide)
  • The position requires international mobility
  • The position requires an availability of at least 8 weeks
  • Start date: as soon as possible

Education

BACKGROUND:

  • Degree/master in the field requested or MD degree with specialization in the above specialization
  • Experience with a considerable number of independently performed surgical/above specialization interventions, corresponding with the surgeries/above specialization that are performed in the mission.

Experience

  • Essential working experience of at least two years After getting the license of practice 
  • Desirable working experience with MSF or other NGOs.
  • Desirable working experience in developing countries

Languages

Mission Language essential; Local Working Language Desirable ( Arabic, French and English )

Knowledge

Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)
